Is Bernie Sanders the guy in Danny Lyon's photographs? Yes. Indeed.

One of my ex-grad students from SUNY Buffalo gave me this photograph, fortuitously, just a few days ago. She said her dad went to college at the University of Chicago when Bernie was there and this is his yearbook picture. It didn’t have a date, but it has all the other information — his name, his undergrad degree, his current major and where he is from (New York, New York).  Compare this photograph to the ones made by Danny Lyon.  He has the same hair, face and glasses.  There is NO doubt that Lyon’s photographs depict Bernie Sanders.
